7. Wait for 5 Hours Before Turning On:

After the drying period, turn on your phone and be vigilant for a “Liquid Detected” alert. If it appears, power off the phone again and wait a few more hours for additional drying.

9. Avoid “Emergency Override”:

Do not select “Emergency Override” if prompted to allow charging. This can harm your phone.

10. Look for Signs of Damage:

Watch out for signs of prolonged water exposure, such as visible corrosion on the charging port, difficulty powering on, overheating, distorted speaker sounds, a foggy screen, or a persistent “No SIM Card” message.

11. Seek Professional Help if Needed:

If any of the damage signs persist, it’s advisable to seek professional repair for your phone. They can address issues like visible corrosion or malfunctioning components.
